Hi! We have a female dog (11 y/o – mongrel – unspayed) and we think she may have developed a tumor/cancer because she has been excessively bleeding for the past 4 weeks, plus she has some kind of lump in her stomach area. The problem is, bringing her to the vet is extremely difficult, if not close to impossible because of her very aggressive behavior. May we ask for some advice as to what needs to be done? Thank you!

Please call a veterinarian and do not use a question-answer site for emergencies.  In cases like this where your dog is extremely aggressive, it needs to be safe for the veterinarian to examine the patient.  If you are unable to get the dog into the car to get the veterinarian there, you will need to find a mobile veterinarian or make arrangements with your veterinarian at the clinic.  Regardless, if you call a veterinary office and let them know the circumstances, they should be able to come up with a plan or at least refer you to a veterinary office that can help.  The options would be to either have your dog examined at the house or to have the veterinarian come onsite to help you.
