I gave my 5 month old puppy a worming tablet on monday the 28th october and turns out she had worms and so they were showing up in her stools for a couple of days. But since monday she hasnt been able to keep her food down each time she eats she vomits it back up. As well as this on the wednesday after she had the de-wormer she started with uncontrollable diarrhoea, she cant make it to the garden. She is still like this. Other than that she is herself she is still playing and chasing the cat around and she seems okay in herself. What do I do? Is she having a reaction to the worming tablet? Should I take her to the vets?

Diarrhea and vomiting can have many causes and worms are just one of them.  The fact that your puppy had so many worms and then was vomiting and diarrhea afterward could mean a number of things.

These could include that she still has additional worms and the entire worming tablet was not eaten, she could have an obstruction caused by the worms or eating something else, she may have an intussusception, a portosystemic shunt and additional diseases related to or unrelated to the worms.   Here is an article on vomiting causes for more information:

While it may be something as simple as stress, anxiety, or allergies.  However, it is very important that you visit a veterinarian so they can help eliminate the possibilities by giving a thorough exam of your puppy including palpation of the intestines and making sure the vaccines are current and running any necessary diagnostics.  Puppies can go from acting healthy to getting really sick quite quickly when they are vomiting and have diarrhea.
